About Us

Our Story

We’re lifelong freshwater and saltwater anglers who grew tired of tackle that promised performance—but delivered disappointment.

Time after time, we searched the shelves only to find the same mass-produced gear in different packaging. Cheap barrel swivels that lock up under the slightest torque. Thick, highly visible leader that looks like pencil lead underwater. Tackle built to meet a price point—not to catch fish.

It became clear that performance often took a back seat to cost-cutting. As long as it passed through a knot-tying machine and hit a retail margin, that was good enough. Never mind that poor design and low-grade components can actually spook fish and cost you opportunities on the water.

So we decided to build something better.

We started crafting our own tackle using premium components, thoughtful design, and one simple standard: if we wouldn’t fish it, we wouldn’t make it. The result? More bites. More hook-ups. More fish in the boat. Even our buddies started asking what we were using.

That’s when we realized—maybe other anglers were looking for the same thing we were.

We didn’t start this to build a corporation. We started it to build better gear. If it helps fund a few more fishing trips along the way, that’s a bonus.

We offer you the exact same tackle we trust every time we hit the water—premium, performance-driven gear designed to help you fish smarter, hook more, and enjoy every cast.

Because like you, we’re not chasing profit.

We’re chasing fish. 🎣

Fishing Experience

We have caught:

Steelhead on the Klamath, Kokanee in Flaming Gorge, Cutthroat at Pyramid Lake, Rainbows in Alberta, Salmon off the Oregon Coast and in the Sacramento River

Marlin, Yellowfin, Wahoo and Dorado in Hawaii and Cabo

Ling Cod, Snapper, Grouper and bottomfish up and down the Pacific Coast from Gold Beach, Oregon to Erendira, Baja

And all the siblings, cousins, aunts and uncles, of those and other species in the Freshwater lakes and rivers throughout the western U.S., in coastal inshore ocean waters from British Columbia to the tip of Baja and offshore in the bluewater of Cabo, Hawaii and Costa Rica.

The purpose in saying this is not to make a feeble attempt at bragging, but to let you know that we have spent a lot of time on the water and have learned through experience what works for us to catch fish.
